I believe the Inktense have to really set dry, not quick dry.

I can get those exact squeaker balls from Meijer. If you happen to have one locally, and they come individually and they’re crazy cheap. My dog loves them. Unfortunately whenever I go to Meijer, they’re usually sold out, which means other people love them too.

Great interview! There is so much great information in here. As someone who has had to be my own therapist throughout my life, (sometimes I do a good job, other times I feel I should be fired, lol) I really appreciate being able to hear a more professional insight to things going on within us. Perhaps changing 'Body History' may be much easier than just battling inner demons or quieting the inner critic. Thank you Karen and Tamara for this deep dive into the healing effects of doing art.

So much covered in this. Great stuff. I saw the length and was ….. so glad I took the time. when I hear the voice say “should” I know it’s programming from or false belief that I need to address. Karen has so many nuggets that help me get through my inner critic . Like “ you don’t get worse w practice …” We all are valued and important. I was raised that art was waste of time not critical in the hierarchy of needs . Food shelter exercise work . I will put my art time at the end of my day when all my chores are done. I have crohns and lupus but when I moved art to beginning of my day my health got better . Even just 3 times a week for an hour . Didn’t change anything else. Still taking the same infusion medication and diet . Still working out and meditating. But my health improved my mood . I really try to encourage other people who I know who suffer from health issues to try to play w art even if it’s color pencil.

Thank you both for these wonderful insights and thoughts. Made me realize just how much art makes me happy!! I may never have A style and am 100% ok with that. Love it all-play and dabble in everything, thats just ME. When I am gone the family can and will chunk it all in the garbage...know what, I Don't Care, it makes me happy now. I would absolutely love to be able to join all the groups, someday!!! When I was teaching my students heard every day "when you stop learning, you stop living." That is true for us all... Ladies, have a marvelous day, chins up with grace, peace and confidence!!!!

I love the sewing box! I am cleaning out my studio and just trying to keep what I actually use. I am an art supply hoarder lol I love your carpet I had something similar I just changed out. I can see why your studio is your 'happy place'. I know mine is. :)
